It is difficult to balance the pressures of planning Thanksgiving for your family and finding time to plan and teaching at the same time. I have stumbled across a few resources that you might enjoy and can integrate into your Language Arts lessons in the week before Thanksgiving. This is a great video for kids explaining what Thanksgiving is all about. I also enjoyed this Read Aloud called ‘The Very Stuffed Turkey” It could be another handy activity for your students too.
